An encounter with the history and ancestors of wine through a long journey that takes us to Armenia. Vayots Dzor is located in the south-central part of the country, about 130 km from the capital Yerevan, bounded by an imposing mountainous relief, this valley benefits from a continental climate and optimal conditions for the culture of the vine.
The Yacoubian family has always had a passion for viticulture. In 2005, by chance, Paul Hobbs, an American oenologist of international stature, came across the Yacoubian estate. He was captivated by the Armenian potential and decided to make an official start in 2008. A new era of viticulture and winemaking began with the aim of producing wines of the highest quality, while enhancing the value of this incredible region, which is home to the oldest known wine cellar, dating back more than 6000 years. In 2014, new vineyards were planted in this area, resulting in impressive quality juices. The estate's whites are original and fresh, while the reds appear much more serious in a modern, characterful style. This set of original wines is to be discovered without moderation so that Armenia can enjoy its exceptional revival!
