Domaine Jean Marc Millot
Discover Domaine Jean-Marc Millot, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, in Nuits-Saint-Georges, now seen through a feminine perspective, that of Alix Millot.
The 8ha vineyard is cultivated with the utmost respect for the soil and nature.
Pinot Noir in all its splendour! Alix Millot arrived at the family estate based in Nuits saint Georges in 2014 and vinified alone in 2016 in order to perpetuate the values instilled by her parents.
The estate has 8 hectares of little treasures and 99% of the wines are from the Côte de Nuits, but only Savigny lès Beaune is an exception, doing honour to the Côte de Beaune.
Alix's wines are world renowned for their remarkable finesse and unique vibrancy. Tasting his Burgundy, his Côte de Nuits, or his various Vosne-Romanée Village and 1er Cru as well as his three Grands Crus, Clos de Vougeot, Echézeaux and Grands Echézeaux, is simply a conversion to excellence.
We love Alix's philosophy, always in search of exchange, sharing and novelties, as well as her desire to evolve towards cuvées of natural wines, without sulphur and vinified in whole clusters.
The singularity of each vintage often leaves us in awe of how far he has come in such a short time. Let's face it, Alix Millot is going to make Pinot Noir speak like never before and you will certainly have understood, Winedigger is more than charmed by this new generation.
