Mas de Libian

Mas de Libian proudly identifies as a southern French winery by producing wines from a blend of different grape varieties from a classically Rhône terroir of rounded river rocks and red clay.

Words from the digger

We are heading to the south of the Rhône valley, to St Marcel d'Ardèche and more precisely to the Mas de Libian, owned by the Thibon family since 1670.
Here, 25 hectares are farmed organically with numerous certifications.
The work accomplished over the years gives the satisfaction of "free" wines, 1 white, 1 rosé and 4 reds. It is through this philosophy that the Mas asserts its southern origins by producing blended wines on a terroir of rolled pebbles and red clay. The soils are worked with horses, which shows the consideration for the living!
We were won over by the family spirit of this estate and its clean and precise know-how. It is with great admiration that we follow the work of Hélène, Alain and Aurélien. The proposed vintages are exemplary models of living wines, which allows Winedigger to represent one of the sure values of this side of the Rhône.
