Domaine Aurélie Crozet
Aurélie is a young winemaker recently established in the terroirs of Régnié.
A former sommelière, she independently and organically manages her micro-estate to produce artisanal wines.
The "new kid on the block" at Winedigger and we love her wines! Aurélie is a former sommelier who has worked in many renowned establishments.
After having seen thousands of bottles pass by her workplace, she exchanges her corkscrew for a pair of secateurs. She settled on a small plot of vines in the Beaujolais region after passing her winegrower's diploma in Beaune with flying colours and having had some experience in winegrowing, notably at the prestigious Clos des Lambrays.
The starting point of this adventure begins in Régnié with 0.64ha of old Gamay vines over 50 years old, all organically grown. His first vintage in 2018 was superb, but it was from 2019 onwards that the magic began to happen on the "Les Chatillons" parcel.
Given the talent and determination of this little woman, the estate is gradually expanding with a fantastic Morgon and a second Régnié lieu-dit "LACHAT".
Winedigger is an absolute fan of her passion and her exemplary seriousness to give birth to great Beaujolais wines. A nugget to watch closely!
