Since 1890, Domaine Gachot-Monnot has carried on an exceptional legacy between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. At the crossroads of family expertise and deep respect for the terroir, Damien and Liselotte Gachot craft vibrant, profound, and elegant wines. A rising star that our Diggers instantly embraced…
Founded in 1890 in Corgoloin, this family treasure embodies five generations of winemaking expertise between the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Marguerite Monot and her daughter, Marie-Thérèse, iconic figures of the estate, shaped its unique identity through visionary renovations and a bold commitment to excellence.
In 1993, Damien Gachot joined his mother to shape the future of the estate. Today, alongside Liselotte Gachot, they passionately cultivate 18 hectares of vineyards across Corgoloin, Comblanchien, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Saint-Aubin. Their dedication to biodiversity and terroir-driven viticulture results in wines bursting with color and aromas, where fruit takes center stage.
Our Diggers couldn’t resist! Damien, a key figure in Côte de Nuits-Villages, crafts wines of remarkable concentration and complexity. Each sip unveils a crystalline purity and rare elegance, making his cuvées must-haves in Burgundy.
Our visit only confirmed our first impression: superb, approachable wines, brimming with finesse and depth. WINEDIGGER is proud to count this rising star among its treasures…
