Domaine Gérard Mugneret

The estate is led by Pascal Mugneret, who comes from one of the iconic families of Burgundy.
They practice organic and biodynamic farming and produce Pinot Noir from regional vineyards, village, premier cru, and grand cru vineyards.
That's quite something!

Words from the digger

In 2005 Pascal Mugneret joined the family estate after a career as an engineer in industry. He follows his father Gérard, his grandfather René and his great-grandfather Eugène in this beautiful profession of winegrower and thus takes care of the 7 family hectares.
A great story is never written at random and it was not without questions that he took the plunge. Pascal is a very thoughtful person and at Winedigger we find that this is the essence of his talent.
Each of his wines tells a story, he manages to make his Burgundian climates speak for themselves with a kindly naturalness.
Of course, all this success didn't happen in one harvest, it took 10 years to achieve the style of wine we were looking for.
The year 2016 marks a turning point with the parceling out and individualisation of the cuvées, this choice offers an unparalleled plurality, notably on Vosne Romanée or Nuits Saint Georges. The Mugneret family has indeed raised their emblem to a very high level.
Winedigger intends to put the spotlight on this star who has remained in the shadows for too long!
