Domaine de Triennes
Provence with a Burgundian Twist!
Located in Nans-les-Pins, 30km north of the Bandol appellation and close to the village of Saint Maximim, Domaine Triennes is classified as Vin de Pays du Var.
The sun of Provence is making its way to Switzerland and settling in at Winedigger.
Burgundy, Provence, Friends, a Common Project, the Seysses Family, De Villaine, sunshine, Michel Macaux, and a passion for wine - this mysterious mix indeed has a purpose and gives birth to this Provençal gem.
The Triennes estate was created over 30 years ago by Aubert de Villaine, a global star of Romanée-Conti, and another famous Burgundian, Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac. For their adventure in the south, the duo was joined by another enthusiast, Parisian Michel Macaux.
Located in Nans-les-Pins, in the Var region, the estate spans across 46 hectares of vineyards facing south, with clay-limestone soil, and a slightly elevated position that provides a wide temperature range. The Mediterranean is not far away and has a beautiful influence on the entire property.
Since 1997, Rémy Laugier has been managing the winemaking, with the support of the Seysses family. The vineyard has been certified organic since 2014, showing that nothing is left to chance for our utmost satisfaction.
A rosé completely "Digged with love," with which we wanted to offer a "real" wine that primarily adheres to our tasting standards, not forgetting the notion of pleasure, which is very important for this style of offerings.
Nighttime harvests result in a lovely pale color while preserving an aromatic nose with intense fruit. The harmony and elegance perfectly reflect the intention of these individuals to place Triennes at the top of the global scale for Provence rosés.
This is unquestionably an exciting estate with an incredibly favorable price-to-quality ratio.
Do as our diggers do, indulge and enjoy your new favorite rosé this summer!
